Birthdate: January 8, 1966 (1966-01-08)
Birth Location: Hong Kong
Height: 1.65m (5 ft 5 in)
Weight: 50kg (110 lbs)

She started playing small roles in Hong Kong movies in the 1980s. Her first role as main actress is in "Devoted to You" (1986). She continued to play as young teenager in the 1980s until 1990. She wanted to change her innocence image by playing more daring film such as "Summer Lovers". In 1993 she made a daring decision by taking her clothes off and starred in Hong Kong Category III film "Crazy Love" (1993). This film is about the adventure of Jane traveling around and come around different men. The story is borrowed from a 1976 German film: "Griechische Feigen" ("The Fruit is Ripe"). She continued to show her body in "The Sprit of Love" (1993), "Girls Unbutton" (1994) and "Sex and Zen 2" (1996). Interestingly, "The Spirit of Love" was made earlier than "Crazy Love"; but the distributor of "Crazy Love" decided to release "Crazy Love" in Hong Kong theaters during the Hong Kong theatrical release period of "The Spirit of Love"; finally, both movies did well at Hong Kong box office, but "Crazy Love" did a little better. She also released two nude photographic albums. "Crazy Love", "Girls Unbutton" and "Sex and Zen 2" become the best selling VCD and DVD until currently. But this did not help her career.
She left the movie industry after marriage in 1996 and gave birth to a daughter in 1997. But it did not last long, as she was divorced and back in the movie "Ordinary Heroes", which earned her a Golden Horse Award in 1999 for Best Actress. She continues as a matured actress, keeping her clothes on. She does not only have a sexy body, but also has fairly good acting skills.
She is very pretty, but she is a bit short. I could hardly forget how sexy she is in "Crazy Love". It defies imagination to all the guys out there! I believe most of those who saw this film just did it for viewing her assets.

Of the three, Gigi is the party girl who frequently staggers back to her apartment after a long bender. Though Hung (Chan Kwok-bong) is completely smitten with the lass, she ignores him, considering a marriage proposal from nebbish millionaire Roger (Kenneth Chan Kai-tai) instead. Of course, Bobo has the hots for Hung, but he is too tied up with Gigi. Meanwhile, Jane is interested in the hunky neighbor (Dior Cheng Yee-kin) who moved in across the street. ~ Jonathan Crow, All Movie Guide

The seamy side of the Hong Kong film industry is laid bare in "The Call-Girls". Based on the infamous starlets-for-sex vice scandal that rocked the 1970s movie world, the drama has a startlingly gritty sense of reality in the casting of two of the era's more prominent erotic stars, Chen Ping and Shirley Yu. The scandal arouses the sense of justice of the young cop, played by Danny Lee, and the movie went on to become a top ten box office hit in 1977.
